In a cocktail shaker, add
1 finger of peeled ginger, sliced into small bits
5 small chunks of fresh lemongrass
1/2 lime
1/3 Thai red chili or jalepeno pepper
*muddle enthusiastically*
Add 5 oz Laughing Glass Original Margarita
Shake, strain over ice, garnish with Thai red chili and lemongrass stalk.
WORD TO THE WISE: Thai red chilies are my preference but they are extremely spicy, please use caution and watch those seeds!

This great idea was hatched right here in Mill Valley by Marin native Heather Wyatt. This cane rum sourced from the fields of Hawaii will add a bit of aloha to any gathering. sammysbeachbarrum.comSANTO This unique black bottle is also the brainchild of Hagar: bonding over a love of tequila with buddy Adam Levine, he found a team to create the world’s first “mezquila,” a blend of tequila and mescal. santomezquila.com
